THE OPPORTUNITY
JiMMYBAR is on a mission to build the most credible, community-driven protein bar brand in the country — one account at a time. We're looking for hungry, high-character field sales representatives who want to be part of building something real.
This is not a desk job. You'll be the face of JiMMYBAR in your territory — walking into gyms, studios, college rec centers, high schools, independent retailers, and franchise locations. You are the handshake, the pitch, the follow-through. Your territory is yours to build
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Your primary mission is simple: put JiMMYBAR in front of the right people, build genuine relationships, and convert those relationships into accounts.
Prospecting & Account Development : Own your territory.
– Build and manage a target account list: gyms, fitness studios, CrossFit/boutique fitness franchises, independent retailers, colleges & universities, high schools, and club/sport organizations
– Execute high-frequency field calls - target 30 acount touches per week
– Identify and cold-approach new accounts with sample drops, pitch meetings, and follow-up cadence
Relationship Management
– Develop genuine, long-term relationships with owners, managers, athletic directors, and buyers
– Maintain a consistent touchpoint schedule with existing accounts to protect and grow velocity
– Navigate franchise environments - understand the difference between franchisee buy-in and corporate preferred vendor processes
In-Store & On-Site Execution
– Ensure proper product placement, display, and merchandising at every account
– Replenish POS materials (sell sheets, shelf talkers, signage) and sample stock
– Identify upsell and display opportunities at each visit
Reporting & CRM
– Log every account visit, new lead, and conversion in CRM - no exceptions
– Submit weekly territory recap: new accounts added, velocity updates, competitive intel
– Communicate field-level feedback to the leadership team on what's working and what isn't
Brand Ambassador: Represent the brand with integrity.
– You are JiMMYBAR in your market - show up prepared, professional, and passionate
– Attend local fitness events, expos, and community activations within your territory
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in CPG field sales or consumer goods territory management
• Proven track record of opening new accounts and building distributor/buyer relationships
• Comfortable with high-volume field activity — this role is on your feet, in the car, in the building
• Strong communicator with the ability to pitch confidently to anyone from a gym owner to a college athletic director
• Self-starter who can manage their own schedule, hit daily targets, and operate without hand-holding
• Proficient in CRM tools and weekly reporting cadence
• Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
• Based in or willing to relocate to your target region
Preferred (Nice to Have)
• Experience selling into fitnesfs, wellness, or natural/better-for-you food channels
• Existing relationships with gym owners, studio managers, or college/university buyers in your target region
• Knowledge of how franchise systems work (preferred vendor lists, local franchisee sell-through)
• Experience with route-based or high-call-volume field sales models (Celsius, KIND, RXBAR, etc.)
• Passion for health, fitness, or nutrition — you use and believe in products like this

COMPENSATION
$5,000/month base + quarterly performance bonus eligibility based on new account adds, distribution growth and velocity targets
90 day probationary period applies; bonus eligibility begins upon successful completion
