1. There are so many bars in the grocery store. Why choose JimmyBars! over other protein and energy bars?
The only thing that matters is the ingredients. High protein, low sugar, low carb mean nothing if the ingredients are junk. JimmyBars! are clean, gluten-free, and dairy-free, and most importantly - tasty. We never use phony ingredients; we don’t add white sugar to our bars. The natural flavors of JimmyBars! are derived from fruits, nuts, and other nutritious yummy foods.
2. What’s in a JimmyBar?
We use dates as our base because they are sweet, high in fiber and vitamins, and are a whole and healthy food. Other bars use sugar or processed food extracts like nectar's, glycerol, cane syrup, non gmo glucose as their primary sweetener - all of which only offer empty calories with very little nutritional value. We use the best grade of nuts, dried fruit, gluten-free oats, and dark chocolate. The only thing in our bar that is not a whole food is the crisp brown rice, which is made with sea salt and brown rice syrup. All others can be plucked from the earth!
3. Why should parents give their kids JimmyBars?
Attention Moms and Dads! Snacks like candy bars, potato chips, or even granola bars are heavy in sugar and salt and don't provide healthy energy for your kids. Give them a JimmyBar! instead and satisfy their appetites with healthy, whole food.
4. When should I eat JimmyBars?
Some people eat JimmyBars! as a snack - others as a meal substitute. Super Hip Chocolate Chip is great when you crave something sweet but are committed to eating healthy while No Bluffin’ Banana Muffin is perfect around breakfast. How 'Bout Dem Apples is a great nutritious snack for any time of day, and Peanut Butter Clutter is a delicious protein boost you can enjoy on the go.
5. I hear terms like “gluten-free” and “dairy-free” all the time nowadays…what’s the scoop with JimmyBars?
Many people discover, often as adults, that food allergies are the cause of many medical maladies. Even though dairy and gluten allergies are among the more common food allergies, it can be incredibly difficult to find healthy foods that don’t contain milk or wheat. Not any more!
